. this is south florida's cbs four miami news. downtown miami hosting a massive party tonight and through the weekend. it's the ultra music festival. we have a look at the party that is just starting to wrap up. several thousand fans the electronic dance music are out having a good time. the festival has had problems in past years but tonight, so far so good.

mourning the death of a young player from miami. >> reporter: family and friends kept vigil outside of his hospital. friday evening their worst fears came to pass. sadness and grief were on display at family and friends of tray walk walker, a quarter back with the ravens had an accident. those closest to him prayed and hoped that he would pull through after surgery but it did not happen. his sister could not bear it. >> i love you. i will keep you. >> reporter: investigators said it appears that he was righting his dirt bike without lights on a dark street while wearing dark clothing.

-- news tonight, a rocket launch from russia's space complex went on a mission to do research for three months. now the cause of a serial child molester. today one officer is in trouble over the way the case was handled. >> reporter: in 2004 fort lauderdale police got information about a man sexually assaulting a girl. the police investigating the case but failed to properly handle the allegations, now the detective is being suspended two days without pay and the victim problems it should be more. the victim said she told her tor -- story to the detective but the police officer thought she was not telling the truth.
